Hydrophobic Polyurethane Grout
- Aquaprufe
APUG-O Hydrophobic Polyurethane Grout is an oil-based PU material that foams when it meets water and forms an insoluble foamed substance with certain strength properties. It is used to quickly seal cracks and block water leakage.
Uses
Leakage repair, plugging, and grouting of underground constructions such as tunnels, coal mines, pits, dams, piers, etc.
Plugging and sealing of construction joints, settlement joints, deformation joints, joint parts of new and old beams, and concrete cracks.
Advantages
Low viscosity and reacts with water (or moisture) to gel and expand.
High tenacity.
Good adhesion to the base layer.
High expansion rate, and can normally expand to a volume much larger than its own, filling cracks and stopping water leakage effectively.
Single-component and easy to apply; applicable by manual, electric grouting pumps and other grouting equipment.
