AG-UG Uniaxial Geogrid is made with polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), together with carbon black and other additives. It has unidirectional ribs and oval meshes.
It is made of polymer thin sheets punched with regular hole meshes and then stretched longitudinally. The structure provides the product with high tensile strength and modulus, which makes it an ideal reinforcement material for improving force bearing and diffusion capability of soils and subgrades. AU-UG comes in multiple types with different tensile strengths.
Uses
AG-UG Uniaxial Geogrid is suitable for civil engineering projects with requirements regarding soft base treatment, consolidation, landslide repair/prevention, soil erosion treatment, etc.
Typical applications would be base consolidation of soft-soil foundations, roadbeds, embankments, dikes, dam slopes and retaining walls; treatment of landslide, collapse and soil erosion.

Packaging
Available from 35 kN/m to 300 kN/min tensile strength. 2m (PE) or 2.5m (PP) in width, and 50m in length for each roll.
Storage
AG-UG Uniaxial Geogrid is designed to last no less than 70 years under natural conditions and the service life remains the same if it is not stored or used in harsh environments. The optimal storage environment would be shady, dry and at room temperature.
